Introducing our Producers

Bowland Farmers Co-operative Ltd

In 2000 a small group of dedicated Lancashire farmers based in the heart of the Forest of Bowland AONB came together to establish and promote their own quality locally branded products.

Their vision then as now is to use their combined husbandry expertise and lifelong experience to produce for the customer superior quality meats which have been reared in natural, ecologically sound & environmentally sustainable conditions.

Their success in achieving this vision has been the continuing growth in the use of, and requests for, Bowland Forest produce.

All the farmers are members of the Bowland Farmers Co-operative and farm in the Bowland Catchment area and, as committed producers, Bowland Farmers belong to independantly assessed quality assurance schemes which meet or exceed all minimum EC and UK requirements in the production, preparation and distribution of their produce.
